Nomad whisky is distilled and aged in Scotland before being finished in Spain. Brightly golden in colour, this whisky is a collaboration between Gonzalez Byass and renowned master whisky distiller Richard Paterson.
No less than 26 different malts and 6 different grains have been blended together in Scotland, resulting in enticing aromas with a malty fragrance that is reminiscent of both oak and Sherry due to the ageing process in American oak barrels. Once ready, the whisky is relocated to the Gonzalez Byass Bodega in Jerez, Spain where it is further aged in Pedro Ximinez Sherry barrels. The unique Spanish conditions result in a whisky that is both smooth and elegant on the palate, with prominent flavours of plump raisins and honey and a truly distinctive bouquet.
