Pigs Nose is a high quality whisky that has been blended by Richard Patterson, Scotland's only third generation Master Blender. The backbone of this Pigs Nose Scotch whisky is an aged Invergordon grain whisky that is then invigorated by first quality Speyside malts and about five percent Islay malt. Nose: Gristy and youthful, some fruit, barley malt, porridge. Young but very sweet.
Palate: Creamy and sweet. Soft, gentle, quite gristy, rather oily and slightly coastal. Hints of salt.
Finish: Medium length, salty butters and caramel.
